The Davies Project provides non-medical support to Lansing area families with a long-term, seriously ill child. We are dedicated to helping families through the significant strain and isolation they experience when caring for a chronically ill child. In January 2015, with highly trained volunteer drivers we began transporting children in need of subspecialty medical care. When a car is unavailable and public transportation is a poor option for a sick child, we provide free rides to and from local subspecialty doctor appointments. Simply put, it is about Local Kids, Local Care, and Getting Them There.
